Riding the Type 1 Diabetes Train!

My son was diagnosed on August 23, 2010 with Type 1 Diabetes. He was 6 years old and my daughter was 8. I was 42–now I am 102! Well, I feel like that some days! Type 1 Diabetes must be monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. No time off for good behavior! This blog will let you take a trip with us on the Type 1 Diabetes Train!

  1. Hi Patty. I just read your FB post about Frankie not making it to school….then I decided to educate myself and I delved into and read your entire blog. Patty, I had no idea how daunting, fearful, and complex T1D is. Your are a wonderful mother and Frankie is blessed to have you and your husband AND Rachel on this ride with him! My prayers are with you and with your family and Frankie. You are doing great!!! Love Christine
